The driver's seat has increased adjustability compared to previous Wolverine models, combined with a no-tool, easy-to-adjust, six-position seat belt for added comfort.

Driver and passenger comfort features include a tilt steering wheel with 17 degrees of adjustment, and a new adjustable passenger handhold with a robust design that won't get clogged with mud or dirt. Furthering driver comfort, the new throttle and brake pedals have been optimised for comfort, while a new strategically-designed brake master cylinder cover helps keep the mud and water off the driver's feet.

A three piece, easy-to-open door design features a steel inner structure, a moulded outer door skin and inner door panel for a high quality feel. The robust inner door handles keep the mud out to operate smoothly in the harshest of conditions. The doors feature integrated snap out speaker panels for easier upgradability, and soft touchpoints for an automotive feel and all-day comfort. Yamaha’s industry-leading On-Command system is recognised as the best 4WD system available in its class. It puts the driver in control, not the machine, via three selectable drive modes, 2WD, 4WD Limited Slip, and Full Diff Lock all available at the turn of a dash-mounted dial. The advanced and heavy-duty suspension is designed to provide maximum articulation in low speed situations and a balanced feeling when trail riding. Wide-arc A-arms paired with high performance long travel FOX 2.0 QS3 shocks provide incredible bottoming resistance with smooth high speed damping. These units can be switched between three custom positions tool-free to enhance comfort during relaxed driving, increase damping for normal trail riding and maximise damping during sport driving.

The Wolverine RMAX2 1000 XT-R features a tilting cargo bed to simplify hauling duties.
