On-Command 2WD/4WD/Diff Lock
Yamaha’s industry-leading On-Command system is recognised as the best 4WD system available in its class. It puts the driver in control, not the machine, via three selectable drive modes, 2WD, 4WD Limited Slip, and Full Diff Lock all available at the turn of a dash-mounted dial. Competitor systems require some wheel spin before diff lock is activated, losing precious traction and time.
Advanced FOX 2.0 QS3 Suspension
The all-new advanced and heavy-duty suspension is designed to provide maximum articulation in low speed situations and a balanced feeling when trail riding. Wide-arc A-arms paired with high performance long travel FOX 2.0 QS3 shocks provide incredible bottoming resistance with smooth high speed damping. These units can be switched between three custom positions tool-free to enhance comfort during relaxed driving, increase damping for normal trail riding and maximise damping during sport driving.
Cargo Flexibility
The Wolverine RMAX4 1000 XT-R is one of the most versatile machines in the two-row side-by-side market. In addition to its ability to comfortably seat one, two, three or four adults, including cargo, the Wolverine RMAX4 1000 XT-R features an ingenious storage system for cargo flexibility. By folding and sliding the rear seats forward, the rear area expands and securely transports up to 272kg of cargo with its multiple steel tie-down points. The Wolverine RMAX4 1000 XT-R also features a built in 2-inch receiver to tow a full 907kg when needed.

All-New Heavy-Duty Three-Piece Door Design
A new three piece, easy-to-open door design features a steel inner structure, a moulded outer door skin and inner door panel for a high quality feel. The robust inner door handles keep the mud out to operate smoothly in the harshest of conditions. The doors feature integrated snap out speaker panels for easier upgradability, and soft touchpoints for an automotive feel and all-day comfort. To ease entering and exiting the vehicle, the front doors feature an enlarged opening, 63% wider than previous Wolverine models. Further increasing comfort, the front shoulder bolster shapes are optimised for a more secure-feeling.
Comfortable Secure Seats
An exceptional seating position provides a planted feel and reduces fatigue, which is essential for occupants to enjoy the driving experience. The new Wolverine RMAX 1000 XT-R keeps occupants comfortable and secure with its wide bolstering and additional leg room for larger occupants. The driver's seat has increased adjustability compared to previous Wolverine models, combined with a new no-tool, easy-to-adjust, six-position seat belt for added comfort.

Driver and passenger comfort features include a tilt steering wheel with 17 degrees of adjustment, and a new adjustable passenger handhold with a robust design that won't get clogged with mud or dirt. The one-way sprag clutch offers natural and predictable engine braking at all speeds. Maximising traction and reducing wear on the vehicle's brake system helps descend hills with confidence. The all-wheel engine braking combined with the new Wolverine RMAX 1000 XT-R brake calipers and rotors results in excellent feel and feedback for confidence-inspiring stopping power. With 255mm rotors and 32mm dual piston calipers up front and 244.5mm rotors and 27mm dual piston calipers in the rear, the perfectly-matched master cylinder and steel braided brake lines bring the RMAX to a stop, even in the toughest of terrains.

Speed Management System

Legendary Durability
Yamaha's proven durability is highlighted by the durable surface treatments and carbon steel construction of the front differential and rear gear case.
